Donate £10
A donation of £10 could help raise awareness in local communities about the importance of protecting pangolins and the cruelty of the illegal wildlife trade.
Pangolins are being hunted to the brink of extinction. Every day, these gentle creatures are torn from the wild, their scales ripped away for use in traditional medicine, their bodies sold as a delicacy. Despite laws meant to protect them, pangolins remain the most trafficked animal in the world.
Over a million have been slaughtered in recent decades—and unless urgent action is taken, they could disappear forever.
A donation of £10 could help raise awareness in local communities about the importance of protecting pangolins and the cruelty of the illegal wildlife trade.
A donation of £20 could support investigations that expose trafficking networks and provide critical evidence to fight for stronger protections.
A donation of £30 could help campaign for tougher enforcement of national and international laws to ensure pangolins are no longer hunted and exploited.
Pangolins are defenceless against the poachers who hunt them. They are smoked out of their burrows, pulled from tree hollows, and snatched from the wild. Many are beaten, boiled, or burned alive to remove their scales. Others are left to suffer in cramped cages before being sold into the illegal wildlife trade. Their scales, made of keratin like human fingernails, hold no medicinal value—yet demand continues to fuel their suffering.
Despite all eight species being protected by national and international law, pangolins continue to be illegally traded in staggering numbers, driven by demand for their meat and scales in traditional Asian medicine. Without stronger enforcement, these unique mammals stand no chance against the networks profiting from their exploitation.
With your support, these shy and ecologically vital animals can remain in the wild where they belong.
Your kindness is a lifeline to animals in need. Together we can end the cruel pangolin trade.
