Donate £10
A donation of £10 could help monitor rescued wildlife, tracking their progress and safety.
Brazil is home to some of the most unique and threatened wildlife on Earth. But as deforestation, wildfires, and habitat destruction continue to rise, countless wild animals are left injured, orphaned, or displaced.
A donation of £10 could help monitor rescued wildlife, tracking their progress and safety.
A donation of £20 could provide life-saving veterinary care for rescued animals, from burn treatment to rehabilitation.
A donation of £30 could support the protection of animal habitats and ongoing research to aid in their reintroduction.
Vast areas of the Amazon, Cerrado and Pantanal are being destroyed for industrial farming, fuelling wildfires and accelerating habitat loss. With each fire, fragile ecosystems edge closer to collapse. The destruction is devastating, and for Brazil’s wildlife, there is no escape. Many animals perish in the flames, while those who survive are left injured, without their families, or forced to roam in search of food and shelter. Without intervention, their chances of survival are slim.
Alongside our partners, Onçafari and the Tamanduá Institute, we are funding urgent rescue efforts, emergency medical care, and safe rehabilitation for animals caught in the fire’s path.
Xamã, an orphaned cub found alone after Amazon fires, was rehabilitated and released thanks to Onçafari’s expert care. From struggling to survive, he learned to hunt and thrive- proving that reintroduction to the wild is possible with the right support.
Valente and Melancia suffered severe burns in the Pantanal fires. With medical treatment, pain management, and dedicated rehabilitation, they are regaining strength and preparing for life in the wild once again.
These unique insectivores are among the most vulnerable to fire, often suffering severe burns and respiratory distress. We are funding the Tamanduá Institute to provide lifesaving treatment to rescued anteaters and, when possible, returns them to protected habitats.
These elusive canines face growing threats from habitat destruction and human activity. By tracking, studying, and protecting them, Onçafari is ensuring a safer future for this vulnerable species.
Every moment counts. With fires still burning and new ones igniting constantly, emergency response teams remain on the front lines, ready and mobilised to save as many animals as possible. By donating today, you could ensure that Brazil’s iconic wildlife not only survives - but thrives in the wild once again.
Your kindness is a lifeline to animals in need. Together, we can protect Brazil’s wildlife.
