Hi, I'm Christina Dixon the Campaigns Manager for Animals in the Wild at World Animal Protection.
I have worked at World Animal Protection since 2013, before which I managed the successful campaign to save London’s iconic skate park on Southbank from redevelopment and ran the UK campaign activities for a small animal protection organisation. I have worked in animal welfare since finishing my masters in media and communications in 2010.
I'm a keen sea swimmer, outdoors enthusiast and general lover of all things marine. I spend my time working on the Sea Change campaign, gathering research aboard boats and beaches to help build a picture of the scale of the problem of ghost fishing gear in our waters. I dream of a future where animals and people can enjoy the marine environment free from the blight of this phantom menace.
