Protect animals through your pay

One easy way to help protect animals from cruelty and suffering is to donate to World Animal Protection through your salary each payday.

£3 a month could help feed a rescued bear for one day
£5 a month could help vaccinate four dogs against rabies
£10 a month could help provide a donkey with urgent veterinary treatment and medical care

What is payroll giving?

Payroll Giving, also known as Workplace Giving and Give As You Earn, allows anyone who pays UK income tax to give regularly to charity, tax free.

Supporting World Animal Protection through Payroll Giving will cost you less than a direct debit – because your donation is taken before you pay tax. So each £1 you give costs you only 80p (and if you are a higher rate taxpayer, it costs you only 60p).

How to set up a payroll gift to World Animal Protection

Speak to your HR team at work. Your employer will need to operate a Payroll Giving scheme – if they don’t, it is simple to set up and a great way for employees to give to charity.

With payroll giving, your donation is taken before you pay tax - giving a pound can cost as little as 60p.
