World Animal Protection is completely reliant on the kindness of the public to continue its vital work and we greatly appreciate this support. Donations from supporters who give monthly make it possible for Word Animal Protection to reach out to animals around the world and get one step closer to a world where animal welfare matters and animal cruelty has ended. 

What is face to face fundraising?

Face-to-face fundraising allows us to create conversations with people when knocking on doors across the UK. Fundraisers are there to tell people about World Animal Protection’s work and asks for their support with a regular gift.

Face-to-face fundraising is a cost-effective method of generating income which enables World Animal Protection to continue protecting animals.

Regular gifts are so important because they are a cost-effective way to donate, keeping our administration costs low. We will be carrying out door-to-door fundraising in 2016, to view the areas we are fundraising in please download our postcode list here:

How do I recognise a World Animal Protection fundraiser?

  • World Animal Protection ID badges will be carried by all fundraisers as required by law.
  • All of our fundraisers will have World Animal Protection branded clothing, literature and pledge forms.

Is this fundraising technique monitored?

We monitor our face-to-face fundraising activity closely to ensure that it adheres to the industry standard codes of practice set out by the Fundraising Regulator.

All our face to face fundraisers are employed by professional fundraising organisations procured by World Animal Protection. World Animal Protection pay a one-time payment for each donor from a pre-allocated fundraising budget. World Animal Protection receive 100% of the donations.
