Working directly with animals

Please note that World Animal Protection does not have any field work or work that directly involves contact with animals available for volunteers. If you are interested in this kind of work we suggest you contact your local branch of the RSPCA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals), as they may be able to suggest volunteer animal welfare groups within your area. You might also consider contacting your local council for a list of local animal welfare groups that you could assist.
