A promise to our supporters
Animal welfare matters to you.
You matter to us.
It’s only thanks to people like you that we can protect animals from cruelty and suffering around the world. From disaster relief and emergency vet care, to rescuing bears from cruel entertainment - everything we do depends solely on the generosity of the public. We wouldn’t be here without our supporters.
Because your trust is so important, we do our best to provide the best possible experience for you. So when you make the decision to support World Animal Protection, we promise in return that:
We are honest, responsible and committed to high standards
We’ll share stories of our work and keep you updated about how your donation helps animals in need.
We value every gift, large and small, and we will always put your gift to work as quickly as we can.
For every £1 you donate to World Animal Protection, 80p goes directly to our work to protect animals, 4p is spent on administration and 16p helps towards raising the next £1. *2015 figures
We work with professional fundraising agencies to assist us in raising funds to help animals. We choose our partners carefully and each agency is required to work to a high standard.
We employ face-to-face fundraising agencies. This cost-effective method of recruiting new financial supporters helps generate the income we need to continue protecting animals.
We will respect your privacy:
We’ll keep your details safe and secure, and we will never share your data with another organisation to use for their own purposes.
We will respect your wishes:
We won’t put pressure on you to make a donation – it’s always your choice to do so. If you don’t want to give or you wish to stop giving altogether, we will respect your decision.
If you no longer wish to hear from us by email, post or phone, just let us know at any time – and we won’t contact you in that way again.
If you have any questions or simply want to let us know what you think, our Supporter Care team is available to speak to in person over the telephone on 0800 316 9966 (Monday to Friday 9am-5pm) or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org
