Your Full Fact Milk pledges are helping us to keep cows on grass

07 October 2015

We are going to be talking to the supermarkets about providing you with milk labelled to show it has come from cows that have grazed on grass

In April this year we launched our Full Fact Milk campaign calling for clear labelling of milk so that consumers can find out whether their milk comes from cows that are free to graze on grass, or from cows in intensive indoor systems.

Just five months later over 25,000 of you have taken the Full Fact Milk pledge. Your support means we are able to demonstrate that there is a huge consumer demand for clearer milk labelling.

What’s next?

We are currently asking the major supermarkets across the UK to meet us so we can talk to them about our Full Fact Milk campaign and why the welfare of UK dairy cows is important to all of you who have taken the pledge.

But we want to give even more people the chance to use their voice to help us persuade the supermarkets they should talk to us about how to provide clearer milk labelling.

So we want to try and get to 50,000 pledges!

Help us get more signatures by spreading the word about dairy cow welfare and how we want to keep cows on grass instead of being permanently housed in sheds all year round.

Thank you again for your wonderful support and you can see just how much the cows appreciate your help by watching their celebratory dance here.
