🦎 50,000 of you demanded the most influential pet store brands in Canada to stop cruelty
We handed over 50,000 petition signatures to PetSmart demanding an end to selling reptiles and amphibians in their stores We are keeping the pressure on by urging our supporters to send an e-letter to the President of PetSmart Canada, demanding an end to reptile and amphibian sales.
🐒 You called out G20 leaders commit to a global wildlife trade ban
Thanks to your support, we have teamed up with internationally acclaimed filmmaker, Aaron Gekoski, to launch the short film, ‘Horrors of the Wildlife Trade’. The film demands G20 leaders commit to a global wildlife trade ban.
🐷 You urged public development banks to halt financing industrial livestock production
We have launched a new coalition with other organisations to campaign against industrial livestock expansion supported by development banks. Development banks are institutions created by a government or group of countries, that provides financing and professional advice to enhance development.
🐬 You moved Booking.com to expand their commitment to protecting wildlife
Now, swimming with and performances by dolphins and other marine mammals is prohibited, plus shows and interactions involving elephants, bears, big cats, primates, reptiles and birds of prey.
