Join our elephant-friendly travel event with Alesha Dixon

02 August 2017

Join us for a fun evening of animal chatter in partnership with Intrepid travel

Leading up to World Elephant Day, we’re holding an event with our partners Intrepid Travel, to talk about the best ways to see wild animals on holiday. Singer, TV personality and animal enthusiast Alesha Dixon will be there to talk about her recent trip to Thailand, where she witnessed the good and the bad of wildlife tourism.

Our recent Elephants in Tourism report revealed the shocking cruelty elephants suffer in the name of tourist entertainment. Alesha will be joined by a panel of wildlife and travel experts to discuss the importance of experiencing wild animals in a safe and nurturing environment.

They will share top tips on doing your research before you book a holiday, what to look out for when you’re there, and how to take action for the thousands of elephants currently suffering in the name of tourist entertainment.

This event is run in partnership with Intrepid Travel and will take place at their event space in Brixton on Thursday 10 August from 6:45pm. The event is free but tickets are limited, so secure yours now! For those that can't make it we will be streaming the event live on our Facebook page
