George White

Hi, I'm George White the UK Communications and Media Officer at World Animal Protection.

I have worked at World Animal Protection since March 2016, before which I ran media campaigns for businesses in the technology and education sector. Since becoming vegan in 2014 I have volunteered and fundraised for campaigns against fox hunting and supported campaigns against badger and dog culling and other animal welfare issues.

I love raising awareness about animal welfare issues for our campaigns including on wildlife crime, farm animal welfare, and the impact of 'ghost' fishing gear on marine animals. I believe that raising awareness and asking people to speak out about issues makes a real difference for animal welfare.
