Hello, I’m Charlotte Regan, UK Campaigns Officer at World Animal Protection.
I work across all of the campaigns in the UK office but have a special passion for farm animal welfare. Factory farming is the largest source of animal cruelty in the world and causes suffering to billions of animals, often hidden behind closed doors and masked by misleading advertising. It’s critically important that people know the reality of how these animals are treated so that they can tell suppliers, food companies and governments that such cruelty won’t be tolerated.
With a background in academia (I have a PhD in political science), I particularly enjoy working on the technical and research elements of our campaigns but also enjoy opportunities to get creative!
